2 weeks out...
busy two weeks:
kitchen - decision has been made contract has not been executed 4-6 lead time. too bad it's 70% more than what was originally budgeted (this is not the way to make this project a success)
HVAC - delays and a little disappointment in scheduling/timing/delays (not sure where the blame goes), commitments have been made to have everything ready this week (we'll see)
rough in plumbing - slam dunk!
plumbing fixtures - tough call... between Danze, Porcher, Delta... based on what works and what's less fruffy and the decision is Delta... now do I buy local or save 30% and go online... that's the real question. toilets / pedestal sinks are on their way... (or so I hope)
electrical: we're moving forward, switch placement (lots of 3 & 4 way switches) and boxes for lights. moving at a good clip and commitment to be done by this Wednesday as well
looks like the new kitchen design will also need stairs that are outside of the original budget (sigh)
