flooring: nice... painting: huh?
flooring looks nice with one coat of poly (we will have 3 total)
not sure what's going on in the painter's mind (sounds like a retread of smooth wall) or what world we live in now but the expectation for wall / ceilings is for: smooth colored or white walls and white / light ceilings... period... no argument...no discussion. I'm not sure the GC or the painter got that memo. it's like buying a car and the spare tire is extra...
Also I'm a little annoyed with the bath vanity folks... ordered the thing four weeks ago looking to make sure it'll be ready with the next week or two now it's not going to be here for another three weeks (that's pretty tight) so they offered us the display model with no discount (lame)
the tiles have been redone (just waiting for the glass), the second load of trim arrived so casing should be complete soon?
