we finally found "real" soapstone
well after 3+ mo going back and forth on green Brazilian soapstone vs. black granite we finally found black soapstone right out of Pennsylvania that's everything you remember chemistry lab was... black with a hint of veining.
kitchen is coming along nicely and we we picked a stain for the floor (walnut brown), the pics below can't really show what it'll look like without the gloss finish that will make it look more red.
I'm not sure who fell asleep at the wheel but the 2nd floor guest bath is unacceptable bumpy (if it's a re-do I'm not going to eat the costs of the new tile)
